Texas High School Volleyball - Needville over La Marque

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) and the visiting La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX), observed Needville's volleyball team top La Marque by a count of 3-0.

The Bluejays (23-13) will now prepare for their contest against Brazosport (Freeport, TX). The Exporters enter the 4A Region IV District 29 contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Brazosport was knocked off by Bay City (Bay City, TX), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Cougars meet the Bay City Blackcats (Bay City, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 contest, on Friday, October 18. La Marque will attempt to move on its 2-17 season record. The Blackcats enter the contest with a 18-16 record after their 3-2 league win over Brazosport (Freeport, TX).
