The Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers edged the visiting New Underwood Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Golddiggers confront the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 17. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to advance on its 4-20 season record. The Scoopers go into the game with a 5-16 record after their 3-1 league loss to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
The Tigers (5-19) will now prepare for their game against Newell (Newell, SD). The Irrigators go into the non-league game with a 10-13 record. In their last game, Newell was edged by Edgemont (Edgemont, SD), 3-0, in a non-league game.
