In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the William Byrd Terriers.
The Cavaliers (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Abingdon beat John Battle (Bristol, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Terriers meet the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Thursday, October 17. William Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
