With the win, South Laurel improves its record to 7-17 on the season. The Cardinals host Jackson County (McKee, KY) to encounter the Generals in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Generals go into the battle with a record of 10-13.

The Raiders now own a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Casey County for a non-league match on Thursday, October 17. McCreary Central will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 11-12.
