Illinois High School Volleyball - Shawnee tips Meridian

October 15, 2024: Wolf Lake, IL 62998

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) and the visiting Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), observed Shawnee's volleyball team hold off Meridian by a tally of 2-1.

The Redskins (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Agape Christian (Energy, IL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Agape Christian got by Elverado (Elkville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Egyptian Pharaohs (Tamms, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Pharaohs enter the contest with a 4-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cobden (Cobden, IL).
