In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Pewitt Brahmas volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Ore City Rebels.

The Brahmas (8-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawkins (Hawkins, TX). The Hawks enter the 2A Region III District 18 challenge with a 11-13 record. In their last challenge, Hawkins beat Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rebels meet the Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Ore City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 20-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX).
