The Winnetonka Griffins topped the host Raytown South Cardinals volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Griffins confront the Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO) in a Class 4 District 8 game, on Thursday, October 17. Winnetonka will attempt to advance on its 6-19 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 20-11 record after their 3-1 league win over Smithville (Smithville, MO).

The Cardinals (4-27) will now prepare for their game against Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 6-18 record. In their last game, Excelsior Springs went down by Grandview (Grandview, MO), 3-2, in a non-league game.
