In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Sutherlin Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the South Umpqua Lancers.

The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Winston, OR). The Trojans enter the 3A Far West challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Douglas beat Glide (Glide, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Siuslaw Vikings (Florence, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Thursday, October 17. South Umpqua will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Coquille (Coquille, OR).
