Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Taholah Chitwhins (Taholah, WA) and the visiting Willapa Valley Vikings (Menlo, WA), observed Taholah's volleyball team hold off Willapa Valley by a tally of 3-2.

The Chitwhins (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Quinault (Amanda Park, WA). The Elks enter the 1B Coastal contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Lake Quinault got by Oakville (Oakville, WA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Ocosta Wildcats (Westport, WA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 17. Willapa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 11-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wishkah Valley (Aberdeen, WA).
