California High School Flag Football - Carmel defeats Salinas

The crowd at Wednesday's league contest between the Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA) and the visiting Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA), witnessed Carmel's flag football squad topple Salinas by a tally of 21-13.

The Padres (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis (Watsonville, CA). The Sharks enter the contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, St. Francis thwarted Watsonville (Watsonville, CA), 40-15, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cowboys confront the Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) in a bout, on Monday, October 20. Salinas will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Haybalers go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 14-6 league win over Monterey (Monterey, CA).
