California High School Flag Football - Mira Loma overwhelmed by Wheatland

The Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA) flag football trounced the visiting Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA), 38-6 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a Pioneer Valley League outing on Monday, October 20. Wheatland will clash with a Fighting Zebras squad coming off a 18-6 league win over Center (Antelope, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 4-10.

With the defeat, Mira Loma drops to 3-17 on the campaign. The Matadors host Foresthill (Foresthill, CA) to clash with the Wildfires in a non-league outing on Friday, October 17.
