Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) and the visiting Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT), witnessed Harwood's soccer team knock off Montpelier by a score of 2-0.
The Highlanders (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against U-32 (Montpelier, VT). The Raiders go into the Capital outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, U-32 by Spaulding (Barre, VT), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Solons confront the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a Capital outing, on Saturday, October 18. Montpelier will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Lancers go into the outing with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Lake Region (Orleans, VT).
