New Mexico High School Soccer - Santa Fe knocks off Manzano

Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) and the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Santa Fe's soccer squad triumph over Manzano by a score of 7-0.
The Demons (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Eldorado was overwhelmed by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 3-2, in a league test.
The Monarchs now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Sandia for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Manzano will meet a Matadors team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 2-9.
