Virginia High School Volleyball - Indian River nudged by Grassfield

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Grassfield Grizzlies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Indian River Braves.
The Grizzlies (17-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Hickory nudged Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nansemond River for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15. Indian River will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
