In Wednesday's league outing, the host Louisburg Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots.
The Warriors (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Yellowjackets come into the Quad County 2A/3A/4A test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Roanoke Rapids edged Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 9-0, in a league test.
The Patriots now sport a 1-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wake Prep Academy for a Quad County 2A/3A/4A test on Monday, October 20. American Leadership Academy-Johnston will clash with a Guardians team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Guardians record now stands at 12-3.
