Fans at Wednesday's league test between the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) and the visiting Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY), witnessed Peru's soccer team knock off Beekmantown by a final score of 3-0.
With the triumph, Peru moves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to clash with the Cougars in a Northern test on Friday, October 17. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record.
