In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals.

The Knights (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Brother Rice got by UIC College Prep (Chicago, IL), 8-0, in a non-league outing.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 20. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Blazing Trojan come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 8-0 league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL).
