With the triumph, Blue Ridge Early College moves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC) to clash with the Bears in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A outing on Friday, October 17. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Summit Charter won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Tri-County (Murphy, NC)

Next up, the Maroon Devils play the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A outing, on Wednesday, October 22. Swain County will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record.
