The Sumner Tigers soccer team (East Sullivan, ME), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Wednesday's league match with the host Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME)
With the triumph, Bucksport moves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Golden Bucks host Penquis Valley (Milo, ME) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, October 17. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 5-3.
The Tigers now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Katahdin for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Sumner will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 13-0.
