In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Commonwealth Mermaids soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 win over the Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts.
The Mermaids (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cambridge (Weston, MA). The Gryphons enter the non-league outing with a 0-4 record.
Next up, the Galloping Ghosts confront the Covenant Christian Academy Cougars (West Peabody, MA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 20. Marie Philip will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Landmark (Prides Crossing, MA).
