The Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) soccer nipped the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), 2-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Trojans now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Lee County for a Carolina Pines 6A challenge on Monday, October 20. Harnett Central will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 15-6.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A battle, on Monday, October 20. West Johnston will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
