Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) and the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), saw Williams's soccer squad triumph over Southern Alamance by a count of 8-0.

The Bulldogs (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 3-12 record. In their last match, Northern Durham was overwhelmed by East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 2-0, in a league match.

The Patriots now sport a 3-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Graham for a Mid-Carolina 4A/5A/6A match on Monday, October 20. Southern Alamance will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 1-0 league win over Person (Roxboro, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-8.
