In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Millard North Mustangs softball team scored a close 7-5 triumph over the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs.

With the triumph, Millard North upgrades its record to 34-4 on the year.

The Monarchs now own a 28-10 record.
