Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Amery Warriors (Amery, WI), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Prescott improves its record to 2-23 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Altoona (Altoona, WI) to meet the Railroaders in a Middle Border challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a record of 14-20. Altoona lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI)

Next, the Warriors meet the Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 21. Amery will attempt to advance on its 3-21 season record. The Beavers go into the test with a 5-30 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI).
