In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Malden Green Wave volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Campbell Camels.

The Green Wave (19-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Portageville (Portageville, MO). The Bulldogs come into the Class 2 District 1 challenge with a 25-5 record. In their last challenge, Portageville beat Clarkton (Clarkton, MO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Camels meet the Clarkton Reindeer (Clarkton, MO) in a Class 1 District 2 challenge, on Monday, October 20. Campbell will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Reindeer come into the challenge with a 7-23 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to North Pemiscot (Wardell, MO).
