Michigan High School Volleyball - Utica over Utica Ford

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) and the host Utica Ford Falcons (Sterling Heights, MI), observed Utica's volleyball team top Utica Ford by a count of 3-1.

The Chieftains (12-19) will now prepare for their battle against Fraser (Fraser, MI). The Ramblers go into the Macomb Area - White battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Fraser was defeated by Marysville (Marysville, MI), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Falcons now own a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling Heights Stevenson for a Macomb Area - White battle on Tuesday, October 21. Utica Ford will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Titans record now stands at 1-24.
