    • New Mexico High School Volleyball - Piedra Vista crushed by Sandia

    October 16, 2021: Farmington, NM 87402

    The Sandia Matadors topped the host Piedra Vista Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's league test.

    The Matadors now have a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Mesa for a 5A District 2 test on Tuesday, October 19. Sandia will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-6.

    The Panthers (5-12) will now prepare for their test against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the 5A District 2 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Farmington was knocked off by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
