The The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans held off the visiting Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tartans now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a test on Wednesday, October 18. The Academy of the Holy Cross will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league win over St. John's (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
The Wolves (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals enter the test with a 2-0 record.
