In Monday's league battle, the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the West Johnston Wildcats.
The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors go into the battle with a 7-0 record.
The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans go into the battle with a 0-8 record.
