The Madison County Mountaineers volleyball team (Madison, VA), went down 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA)

The Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Luray (Luray, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Luray defeated Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers encounter the Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Madison County will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Strasburg (Strasburg, VA).
