Burke Bulldogs (Dorchester, MA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Boston Latin Academy Dragons (Dorchester, MA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Concord-Carlisle Patriots (Concord, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 21. Burke will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record.

The Dragons now have a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Brighton/Boston Academy for a challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Boston Latin Academy will confront a Bengals team coming off a 5-4 league win over East Boston (East Boston, MA). The Bengals record now stands at 6-5.
