North Carolina High School Soccer - East Henderson nudges Tuscola

October 16, 2023: Waynesville, NC 28786

East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. East Henderson will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).

The Mountaineers now possess a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pisgah for a Mountain Seven 3A challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Tuscola will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 13-2.
