North Carolina High School Soccer - River Mill knocks off Southern Wake Academy

The River Mill Jaguars soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Southern Wake Academy Lions to 1 in the Jaguars league victory on Monday.

Next, the Jaguars face the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A contest, on Wednesday, October 18. River Mill will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Aviators enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC).

The Lions now have a 1-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatham Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A contest on Wednesday, October 18. Southern Wake Academy will face a Knights team coming off a 4-3 league win over Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-14.
