Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 26-4 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin County for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 16. Wesleyan will battle a Lions squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA). The Lions record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, Franklin County falls to 21-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to battle the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 16. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 23-4. Wesleyan won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA)
