The Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) softball routed the host Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), 9-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (17-14) will now prepare for their bout against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 15-6 record. In their last bout, Washington-Wilkes toppled Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA), 2-0, in a league bout.
