The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) and the host Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY), saw Anderson County's volleyball squad beat Spencer County by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Anderson County upgrades its record to 13-13 on the year. The Bearcats host Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to play the Yellowjackets in a District 30 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 23-6. Woodford County won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)

The Bears now own a 6-21 record.
