The Benton Rangers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Frankfort Redbirds to 1 in the Rangers league victory on Monday.

The Rangers now have a 10-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton County for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 18. Benton will meet a Foxes team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Edwards County (Albion, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 20-9.

The Redbirds (9-25) will now prepare for their game against Massac County (Metropolis, IL). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 24-5 record. In their last game, Massac County nipped Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
