North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Wake Academy tips NCSSM: Durham

The East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) volleyball nudged the visiting NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC), 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, East Wake Academy upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC) to face the Firebirds in a Super Six 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, October 17. The Firebirds go into the outing with a record of 20-3. Falls Lake won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC)

The Unicorns now own a 12-7 record.
