Next up, the Maroon Tide clash with the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a Mountain Empire match, on Tuesday, October 17. Galax will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 10-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA).

With the loss, Eastern Montgomery drops to 5-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Craig County (New Castle, VA) to clash with the Rockets in a Pioneer match on Tuesday, October 17. The Rockets come into the match with a record of 0-13. Craig County lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA)
