The Elmwood-Murdock Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Johnson County Central Thunderbirds to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.

The Knights now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeman for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 17. Elmwood-Murdock will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Falls City (Falls City, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 22-4.

The Thunderbirds (18-9) will now prepare for their game against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Griffin enter the non-league game with a 18-8 record. In their last game, Diller-Odell defeated Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE), 2-0, in a non-league game.
