In Monday's league battle, the visiting South Mountain Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Fairfax Stampede.
The Jaguars (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights come into the 5A - Metro battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Metro Tech achieved victory over Independence (Glendale, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Stampede clash with the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a 5A - Metro battle, on Wednesday, October 18. Fairfax will attempt to advance on its 1-17 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 7-7 record after their 3-1 league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ).
