Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Nantahala Hawks (Topton, NC), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 18. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to better on its 9-14 season record. The Highlanders come into the match with a 7-15 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC).

With the loss, Nantahala drops to 0-15 on the campaign.
