The Thornton Wildcats volleyball team (Harvey, IL), went down 2-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL)

The Kays (24-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Warriors enter the Southland challenge with a 14-13 record. In their last challenge, Crete-Monee went down by Reavis (Burbank, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a Southland challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Thornton will attempt to move on its 6-14 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a 5-20 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Argo (Summit, IL).
