The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) and the host Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA), saw Ouachita Parish's volleyball squad beat Richwood by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Ouachita Parish upgrades its record to 7-12 on the year. The Lions travel to Caddo Magnet (Shreveport, LA) to play the Mustangs in a Division II District 1 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Caddo Magnet lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Northwood (Shreveport, LA)

The Rams now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Woodlawn-Shreveport for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 24.
