The Slaughter Community Charter Knights volleyball team (Slaughter, LA), was nudged 3-2 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Kittens (15-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast (Pride, LA). The Vikings enter the Division IV District 3 challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Northeast was nudged by Central Private (Baker, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights encounter the Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA).
