In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Porterville Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the El Diamante Miners.

The Panthers (25-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA). The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Whitney was beaten by Monache (Porterville, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Miners meet the Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. El Diamante will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Rangers enter the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Golden West (Visalia, CA).
