In Wednesday's non-league game, the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) flag football team edged the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), by a tally of 6-0.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 16. Groves will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
The Sharks (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Beach (Savannah, GA). The Bulldogs go into the D2 Area 3 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Beach was edged by St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA), 63-0, in a non-league challenge.
