The crowd at Wednesday's league contest between the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) and the visiting Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA), witnessed Del Oro's flag football squad knock off Oak Ridge by a tally of 18-6.
The Golden Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis (Sacramento, CA). The Troubadours enter the contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, St. Francis was outscored by Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA), 27-12, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Trojans battle the Davis Sr. Blue Devils (Davis, CA) in a contest, on Thursday, October 17. Oak Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 3-7 record after their 32-21 league loss to Whitney (Rocklin, CA).
