The Santa Fe Demons soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Manzano Monarchs to 0 in the Demons league victory on Wednesday.
The Demons now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Eldorado for a 5A District 2 bout on Saturday, October 19. Santa Fe will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league win over La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Manzano moves to 7-10 on the year. The Monarchs host Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Matadors in a 5A District 2 bout on Saturday, October 19. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Sandia won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)
