In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Abingdon Falcons.
The Cavaliers (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels enter the non-league challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Fleming was tipped by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Abingdon will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Wolfpack enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lee (Jonesville, VA).
